Hello again!!
We are fine.
Tropical Storm Olga didn't get "organized" enough to be called a tropical storm until it passed us going from east to west.
For the last four days we have had periods of very strong wind and very hard rain, mixed with hot steamy sunshine. We could tell the storm was serious when the wind and rain came from the south.... last time it did that was Hurricane Karen (or was it Noel?).
It sounds like the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico are really getting hammered. We are so sad for all those people.
BTW: The Dominican Republic is NOT the place where we had our Phase 2 training. We trained in the Commonwealth of Dominica. A whole different country.
