Art Contest Award Ceremony

The Award Ceremony for the art contest was fun! Island businesses and the Representative to Parliament donated enough prizes so every entrant won something. And there was talk of making it an annual event.

This brings us one step closer to opening the Handicraft Center. We dreamed up the art contest so that we would have local art by real islanders to use on our labels, tags, and publicity. Maybe even tote bags and T-shirts.

The building is almost ready, so maybe we will be able to open our doors in September!
