Today I went out and looked in the chicken coop ("fowl pen") -- and found six eggs!! Well I'll be!!!
Yes, we ate them. Well, five of them - they tell me you need to leave one egg or the hen will abandon the nest. The eggs were small and the yolks were very yellow. Maybe from all that corn (pronounced "karn") we feed the chickens ("fowl"). And the eggs were very tasty.
How much fun is this!!
