Wow!!!
Our island is sooo flat, has sooo little traffic, and things are spread out sooo far that we're allowed to have bikes!!!
Above is a photo of Jim's bike. Mine is purple and silver! We also have helmets, have gone through the police "Bicycle Safety" program, and as soon as there is a sounding device (i.e. bell or horn) on our island, we will have those too. I tink the seats on both of them are made out of concrete... very hard. But that gives Santa Clause something to bring us. ; )
We have really enjoyed our mobility since we got them. We rode to the East Coast (Two Feet Bay) last weekend and swam in the Atlantic. The weekend before, we rode to the south and swam in the Caribbean. Next time I'm whining because all the shops are out of peanut butter, or scrub brushes, or spaghetti sauce -- please remind me of the GREAT things about this place!
